Tri-Point Parish News - Plans
for Lent - Once again we will join our efforts with the whole parish for our Wednesday night mid-week Lenten
services. We will pick up the rotation with Ash Wednesday service at Prince of Peace on February 22. The order of events each
Wednesday night will follow our celebrations during Advent. The night will begin at 5:30pm with a meal served by the hosting
church congregation. Worship will be held at 7:00pm with Bible study for adults and confirmation for the youth at 7:45pm.
The theme for our Lenten reflection will be "Words That Last" focusing on the last words that Christ spoke before
he died. Please join us for this series of services.
Lenten rotation will be as follows:
February 22 - Prince of Peach - Geneva
February 29 - St. John's - Ohiowa
March 7 - First Lutheran - McCool
Junction
March 14 - Prince of Peace - Geneva
March 21 - St. John's - Ohiowa

Sack Lunch Lenten Services -- During the season of Lent the churches of
Geneva will host a time of prayer and fellowship on Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Everyone is cordially invited to participate.
The services will be held in various churches. After a time of prayer there will be a chance for fellowship and lunch. Coffee,
tea, water and juice will be provided. You are invited to bring a sack lunch, as well as a non-perishable food item for Blue
Valley. The schedule is as follows:
February 29 - St. Joseph's (Leap Day)
March 7 - Evangelical Free
March 14 - First Congregational
March 21 - United Methodist Church
March 28 - Prince of Peace
April 4 - Holy Week
Lutheran Marriage Encounter Weekend will be held February 10-12 in
Lincoln, NE. Please contact Dayle & Terri Mauze at 402-540-8508 to register. The weekend will focus on Restoring, Renewing
and Rekindling your marriage. Registration costs are $45.00. Toward the end of the weekend, you will be asked to please
consider giving a monetary donation to keep the program going. You can register and learn more online at http://godlovesmarriage.org/index.php.
Box tops and Campbell's labels (UPCs) for our school -- You may leave you
box tops and UPC labels in the church narthex. A copy of eligible products is located on the fellowship bulletin board.
Please remember our Youth attending Camp Carol Joy Holling this summer and also our Youth
attending the National Gathering in New Orleans where they will be helping out with mission projects and any other
way possible.
Attention - Anyone Using the Kitchen - Please make extra sure that you have
turned off the burners when you are finished in the kitchen. A burner was found left on last week and this could have been
a very serious situation, so please double check! Thank you!!!
