Confirmation - During the remainder of Lent,
Confirmation classes will be from 5:30p until 7:00p with Lenten Worship following the class. Supper will be provided for the
kids during class time.
Lenten Suppers - Suppers will be at 6:00p on Wednesday nights and servers are as
follows: March 10 - WELCA March 17 - Council
March 24 - Potluck
(There will be no suppers during Holy Week.)
Sack Lunch Lenten Services - During
the Season of Lent, the churches of Geneva will host a time of prayer and fellowship on Wednesdays at 12:00noon. Everyone
is cordially invited to participate. the services will be held in various churches. Coffee, tea, water and juice will
be provided. You are invited to bring a sack lunch. The schedule is as follows:
March 10 - United Methodist

March 17 - First Congregational Church
March 24 - Prince Of Peace Lutheran Church
The Seven
Last Words of Christ - A Lenten Cantata - On Sunday, March 28, the Geneva United Methodist Church Chancel Choir will present
this cantata. It will begin at 7:00p with a short organ recital by Judy Ackland. There will be a coffee hour in the Fussell
Fellowship Hall following the cantata. Everyone is invited and welcome!
Attention - Anyone Using the Kitchen
- Please make extra sure that you have turned off the burners when you are finished in the kitchen. A burner was found left
on last week and this could have been a very serious situation, so please double check! Thank you!!!
Walking
Taco Time - The Walking Taco stand is a project at the Geneva Home & Garden Show that the youth of Prince of Peace
can help with to raise funds to help defray the cost of summer camp at Camp Carol Joy Holling. It will be Friday and Saturday,
March 19 & 20. We are in need of volunteers to work as well as food donations to cover the cost of the walking tacos.
there is a list of donations needed as well as a list for volunteers to sign up in the Fellowship Hall. If you have any questions
